If you smoke a regular cigarette, you have to deal with your lighter, then an ash tray, then all of those nasty ashes, and then you have to get rid of the cigarette butt. It may seem like only a minor inconvenience, but a minor inconvenience is still an inconvenience. The only thing you have to keep up with with an electronic cigarette is the charger and e-liquid cartridge. Cost efficiency is another big plus that the electronic cigarette has over conventional cigarettes. If you were to buy, for example, a pack of cigarettes to last you one whole day, not only are you taking in more tar, but you are wasting money. Most smokers who go through one pack a day say that one single e-liquid cartridge can last them for several days to a week. So the value of one cartridge of e-liquid definitely equals more than one pack of cigarettes. The environment is another key point that makes the electronic cigarette such a great item for smokers. E-liquid contains primarily water, nicotine, and flavorings, none of which are harmful to the environment. There is also no second hand smoke, so you could also smoke in public places if you wish without worrying about a fine.
