 What is the weirdest job that you had done? In order to meet one's needs, a person must have a job. This is one of the top reasons why people work but this should not end there. One must enjoy the job she/he is doing in order to make the most out of it. But finding a job is never an easy task due to the big competition that a job-seeker must face. There are times that thousands of people are battling for a single position so a job-seeker must meet all the necessary required skills and credentials. In a world where big job competition is normal during a time of recession where massive laying-off happens, all jobs be it weird and unusual is still a job. The following are some of the weird and unusual jobs that we never thought they existed: 1. Wrinkle Chaser A Wrinkle Chaser is the person that irons wrinkles from shoes as they are being made to ensure they are perfectly smooth when you buy them. 2. Chicken Sexer This is a real job title. A chicken sexer sorts through baby chicks to determine if they are male or female, and then segregate them. 3. Odor Judgers Odor Judgers get to smell armpits all day to help make deodorants that will work well. It is still confusing why somebody other than some strange fetishist would want this job. 4. Furniture Tester Now here's a good one. The La-z-Boy Company (and probably others) employs furniture testers to check out their recliners. Want to relax for a living? 5. Hot Walker This is the person that walks the racehorses around after a race. It is important, because if a horse doesn't cool down before returning to his stall, the overheating can cause kidney damage. 6. Yawn Counter at a Sleep Clinic This job may sound sleepy but one needs to be fully awake in order to do this properly or else you will need to start counting again from zero. 7. Video Game Tester This is a dream job for those who love virtual adventures and can consume several hours infront of the computer or the television. 8. Cat Nanny Do you like cats, whether stray or with breed? Then this job is for you. From feeding these family members of Doraemon to cleaning them up and keeping them refreshed and relaxed all day are some of the basic job descriptions of a cat nanny. 9. Political Writing You don't think politicians write their own pamphlets and other campaign materials? Really now - they hardly think their own thoughts. One writer reports that she charges $25 to $35 per hour for writing for politicians. 10. Technical Manual Translator Want to translate that technical manual or users guide for the VCR from Japanese to English? Call someone who does this type of work. It may be tedious, but the pay is okay.
